I Believe It's Time For A DOLL Takeover.

2.	dissent from an accepted moral code or convention of behavior, dress, etc. I am a HUGE fan of the second definition. I think many people are stuck following this unwritten rule book that states how they should act, dress, speak, etc. Thankfully, I'm able to stand up and say "Not I." Hopefully, many of you do the same. But before I get too deep into that, let's talk basics. First things first, my name is Hayley. I am seventeen years old and a senior in high school. I have an extreme passion for writing. I am an aspiring journalist and I am proud to say I am completely in love with fashion. I also have an odd obsession with cupcakes. Oh, and of course I'm a doll! No, that does not mean I am plastic nor that I'm fake. I'm actually far from both of those. I have actually created my own definition of a doll.  I believe a doll is someone that stands for something. Someone that makes a statement. Someone who accepts their flaws and becomes perfectly imperfect. Someone who refuses to conform! Which brings me back to what I was saying before, no one should feel the need to have to fit into someone else's idea of style, attitude, or whatever it is. We are individuals. So, there is absolutely no need for us all to be put into one group of rules or regulations. This is what this blog is all about. Individuality. I live for it. I search for people that define the word. They can show it through music, fashion, or pretty much anything. Strong, determined people that make a statement is what defines this blog. I want people to read the articles and not say "Oh, I wanna be like them" but instead say "Oh, I wanna be myself." As you can see, I'm very passionate about this, which is my reasoning behind starting this blog. This page will now serve as a holding place until my official site is up and ready. I'll be posting here everyday until my site is done. In the meantime, I will be reporting on some of your favorite celebrities and hopefully some amazing locals that you may even know.  If you are interested in being involved in the site in anyway, whether it is you wanna be interviewed or you even want to promote, feel free to contact me at thedollrebellion@gmail.com.
