WARNING: Do NOT over-accesorize or else you may end up looking like this:
Now, we all know Rihanna is known for being trendsetter but this is one style of hers, I hope to never see trending. My biggest problem with this ensemble are of course, THE SOCKS! As much as people want to say that the heels and socks look is in, the whole style is not cute. I've come across a few runway looks using shoes with socks that aren't that bad but Rihanna just proves that is a look that is meant to stay on the runway. Now, on to the next problem, her major use of accessories. First, the bangles need to go! They're bulky and she has WAY too many on. Also, I am not a fan of her earring choice. They're nice but not nice for this outfit. I understand that her dress is multicolored but if she's gonna accessorize, she should choose only one or two close colors. The red shoes, black and yellow earrings, blue socks, and orange bangles are all clashing. Add that on to her bright red hair and you have Bozo the Clown. It's not a good look. The last problem I have with Rihanna's outfit is the fur. Can somebody please tell me where does the fur come in?! It does not go with the outfit at all. Shoot, it makes me wish the animal rights people would come and snatch it right out of her hands. She mixed too many styles in one outfit. Her best bet would have been to shorten the dress, right above the knee would have been fitting, lose the socks, get rid of the bulky bangles, put on a pair of simple earrings and there you would have it, a tasteful outfit.
